One thing that makes Lynchburg so special is the number of small businesses, boutiques, restaurants and everything else in-between. We have compiled a list of the newest businesses to try out and support this year. (And don’t forget about the ones that have always been part of our City, too.)

Bentley’s on Bedford: This restaurant serves a mix of small plates and American cuisine located in a restored fueling station. Beau’s Gourmet Cheese & Charcuterie: Beau’s is the perfect place to find unique cheeses and salamis, and even take a charcuterie class. Cosmos New Southern: Serving up delicious brunch and fun chicken and waffle dishes. Duck Donuts: Originally from the Outer Banks, Duck Donuts are made-to-order and customizable. Inka Grill: Located on Main Street, this spot is serving up authentic Peruvian dishes. Playa Bowls: Healthy acai and superfoods bowls with a massive menu to choose from and customize. El Mariachi Restaurant and Café: A Mexican restaurant serving up delicious dishes, and also serving authentic Latin breakfast and brunch options. County Sunrise: A breakfast and brunch spot serving southern and Jewish inspired dishes. Fleming Mountain Grill: This steak house is cooking perfectly cut meats and seafood with one of the best salad bars in the area. Oliver’s on Rivermont: From smash burgers and dogs to seafood dishes, this spot is serving up some delicious options and live music. Taco Jesus: Located on Bedford Ave., this is the perfect place to order authentic street tacos, and quesadillas, too. The Flour District: A European-inspired bakery serving up artisanal baked goods and delicious coffee. The Glass House: This fun gastro lounge is serving unique small plates and inspiring cocktails. Truss: Unique, upscale dining serving specialty craft cocktails and locally sourced dishes. The All American Sports Bar and Grill: Enjoy tasty meals and favorite appetizers while you catch your sports team in a game.

Mosaic/Threaded: This upscale thrift store and boutique is selling clothes, jewelry and more with a purpose in mind. Rhodora Specialty: Rhodora, (formerly known as Live Trendy or Die), is the perfect boutique to find a special occasion outfit or gift. PREAM: Which stands for Plants Rule Everything Around Me, is a specialty plant shop with plant classes. Scratch Pasta: Scratch is a specialty cooking store selling their well-known, handmade boxed and fresh pastas. Gladiola Girls: A boutique celebrating every woman’s individual style selling quality, well-known clothing brands, local jewelry, fun shoes and so much more. The Golden Honey: This boutique is located at River Ridge, and is blending West Coast style with practicality.
