St. Patrick’s Day is coming! You don’t have to be Irish to enjoy the celebration. Put on your stylish green outfits and check out events in Lynchburg. We always encourage you to have fun and enjoy the City as much as we do, so please drink responsibly and have a designated driver as you enjoy this pub crawl. Here’s how you can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Lynchburg!

St. Paddy’s Day 5k

Test your speed and wear green! Join runners and walkers at the annual St. Paddy’s Day 5k hosted by Park View Community Mission through Downtown Lynchburg. All proceeds benefit the nonprofit’s food for thought program. After crossing the finish line, celebrate the festivities at the Water Dog with adult beverages and food!

Head to The Water Dog in Downtown Lynchburg for their St. Patrick’s Day festival on March 15 and 16 where they offer 36 draft beers! This two day festival is brining live music, some vendors, festive food and all the celebrations. Try their shareable appetizers such as their parmesan crusted pretzel bites, one of their gourmet grilled cheese options or some nachos with beer cheese! 

St. Patrick’s day at Iron & ale 

Grab your friends for the ultimate all day party celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at Iron & Ale on March 16! Enjoy Irish food specials, drinks, face painting, yard games, and live music. 

FunQuest St. Paddy’s Day Party

Wear green for free skate admission on March 17 for the ultimate St. Paddy’s Day Party! Then, March 22 is for the adults! this 21 and over event is a green out part from 9 PM-1 AM.

Stop at Apocalypse Ale Works to finish off your night! They will have live music on their back porch, making it feel like the ultimate backyard party with jumbo Jenga and Connect Four. Try out one (or a few) of their craft beers and take in the St. Patrick’s Day cheer.

On March 29th, you’ll be able to immerse yourself into Celtic culture at the Sedalia Center’s Celtic Festival. This even features Highland dancers, Celtic music, a sheepdog herding exhibition and a parade of clans! You’ll be able to enjoy classic pub food, a whiskey tasting and enjoy mead and Scottish Ale. There’s so much more in store at this event for you to enjoy, so make sure you save the date!
